What You Need to Know

Fit Model suits are made similarly to our Practice Suits, but with increased coverage on the bottoms to align with NPC requirements. Because these suits are unembellished, production time is faster than competition suits.

It is strongly recommended to order your Fit Model suit at least 6 weeks out from your show date, allowing it to arrive approximately 3 weeks before show day. At this point, your physique should be in its final stages of refinement, not undergoing significant size or weight changes that could affect fit or coverage.

We highly encourage ordering a Practice Suit first to confirm appropriate coverage before investing in a Fit Model or Competition Suit. KHCustoms holds zero responsibility for coverage issues if a Practice Suit has not been purchased and reviewed beforehand. Please note that coverage and fit will appear different on every athlete, depending on glute size, shape, and frame. For reference, fit model glute coverage is approximately 50% — modest and compliant with NPC guidelines.

 

Because of the scrunch bum and the amount of fabric used to achieve proper coverage, bottoms may naturally ride up during wear. It is the client’s responsibility to bikini bite or secure the bottoms as needed. KHCustoms is not responsible for improper wear, adjustments, or coverage once the suit is received.

If a smaller coverage has been recommended by your coach, it is advised to order two pairs of bottoms.

Every Fit Model suit is custom made to your measurements, ensuring proportional fit for your body type (for example, the cut for an athlete who is 5'2" will differ from one who is 5'8"). Different body proportions will naturally result in different coverage visuals — this is expected and not a design flaw.

 

All suits feature adjustable slide straps, a wider front panel, and approx. 50% back coverage as per NPC standards.
